Food System Planning Survey - Due 8/5

The MDA would like to offer more resources and technical assistance to local governments to do "food system planning." The food system is simply the chain of activities that connect production, processing, distribution, consumption, and waste/recovery. Together, these activities have a significant impact on things that local governments are responsible for such as land use, the environment, public health, and the local economy. Food hasn't typically been a part of city planning in the past, so the MDA would like to help more local governments incorporate food systems into their planning work.

If you are a planner, please take this 3-question survey to let the MDA know what kind of assistance you would like regarding food systems planning by August
