Sustainable Resource Center (SRC) will be offering a series of Healthy Homes trainings that will be focused on preventing home-related health issues through the Seven Principles of Healthy Housing.
TRAINING DATES FOR 2023 AND 2024
- Dec. 14, 2023 –virtual, one-day Healthy Homes 101
- March 6 and 7, 2024 – in-person, Essentials for Healthy Homes
- May 9, 2024, virtual, one-day Healthy Homes 101
- June 12 and 13, in-person two-day Essentials for Healthy Homes
COURSE PARTICIPANTS WILL LEARN THE FOLLOWING:
- Seven principles of healthy housing
- How to make healthy housing a reality in their communities
- The relationship between housing and health
- Learn about actions that can be taken to improve the health of your clients
The course will use a combination of one-on-one instruction and small group discussion opportunities to support learning. Instruction for the training will be provided by SRC staff. SRC is a partner in the National Healthy Housing Training Center and Network.

Options for Virtual Class Materials: Participant materials can be picked up at SRC prior to class or materials can be mailed. Please note that there is a cost for shipping to the participant. (Last date for delivery is Dec. 8, 2023.)
