Cities and townships in the seven-county metro region that are served by a municipal public water supply system may now apply to the Met Council for a grant to help residents, businesses, and municipal governments reduce their water use. Grants will range from $5,000 to $75,000 and require a 20% municipal match. $1.4 million is available for community-designed programs through 2028.
